Description

We see children from the school taking part in their sports day including various races, a gymnastics demonstration and a maypole dance. We then see the children visiting Skegness. They arrive by bus and are seen on a rollercoaster, boating, riding donkeys on the beach and swimming in the lido. Back in Derby we see the children waving union flags and watching a drive past of a motorcade containing Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh who were visiting the town. Finally we see the children on a visit to York Minster.
