We see shoppers gathering outside Lewis's store in Birmingham and then the main doors being opened viewed from inside the shop. We then see views of customers (predominately women trying on coats and hats). These shots are followed by 1.33 of extra material showing people again queuing outside Lewis's (It is likely that these shots are from 29 December 1961). Cups of tea are provided for people in the queue before we see similar view of shoppers inside inspecting the hats and coats.
