Description

We see shots of the steelworks and furnaces in Corby and hear recordings of people talking about coming to the town, mainly from Scotland. There are shots of surrounding countryside, a hunt and Rockingham Castle.

There are shots of an annual Robert Burns supper with speeches, singing and poetry recitals.

We see shots of the old village buildings and new shopping areas and housing in the town.

We see shots of a band playing and people dancing. Later we see shots of a congregation in St Andrew's Church of Scotland in Corby.
