Description

Views of people at a Pontins holiday camp including an outdoor swimming pool and egg and spoon race and tug of war. Vox pops with three people about loneliness. We hear from an elderly man, a woman who has recently moved to a new estate and does not know anyone; and a teenage girl about loneliness felt by adolescents. Richard Thompson then interviews passengers on a train asking them if they like to talk to fellow travellers on their journeys and if so what they chat about. We then see views of a meals on wheels service provided by Coventry City Council visiting elderly residents of the city. This is followed by shots of women with small children visiting a health centre and finally views inside a youth club in Solihull showing basketball, country dancing and a girl on a trampoline.
