We see Bob Edwards MP visiting a day centre for the elderly at Bilston in his constituency. Bruce Grocott then interviews Edwards about his life in politics and in particular his memories of the 1930s which include a spell fighting in the Spanish civil war. Some archive of the Spanish war is also included.
