Description

Drama Documentary about a young man who gets his polling card through the post and doesn’t know who to vote for. Includes Brian Matsell MP (Conservative) and Peter Snape MP (Labour) - they give brief statements about why young people should vote ( MPs from West Bromwich, Labour won, 1997 General Election). Parents talk about when they first voted; dissolution in young people. An interview with Betty Boothroyd at Westminster. She talks about how important it is for Civics to be taught in schools. The importance of connecting with the public on a grassroots issues. Vox Pops on a high street about politics and politicians. Young people talk about politics.
