Exterior views of the estate of maisonettes which were built around 1968. Views inside houses and interviews with residents about the damp conditions they are forced to endure. Condensation runs down the walls causing mold leading to ruined fixtures and fittings and health problems. The houses are heated by gas warmed hot air with upstairs rooms not having any heating at all. The council have tried to fix the problems including trials of polystyrene wall lining proposed by Professor Pratt and the introduction of coal fires. An environmental health officer for the housing charity Shelter also contributes.
