Lonsdale Road in Stamford is split between South Kesteven Council on one side and Rutland (Leicestershire) council on the other. This has resulted in different levels of tax with those on the Rutland side paying more. Shot of Rutland side residents Sid and Doris Ball looking out of their window. Interview with Sid Ball who explained that because of the county boundary he will have to pay more than Lincolnshire residents who live across the road. Interview with Hildred Newman and Hugh and Marie Cripps who live on the Rutland side. The Cripps have only recently moved in to the area from Sheffield.
