Description

The film is made up of a series of talking heads discussing aspects of Diwali. A woman describes how to make diva candles, a man explains the importance of pens in a prayer ceremony in the temple, a woman says she thinks fireworks are an essential part of Diwali celbrations (stills are used here), a woman focuses on the making of chakri, a savoury snack and, finally, a woman explains the creation of doorstep painting using coloured rice (rangoli) - included in this section are demonstrations of the practice.
