Description

We open with part demolished housing in St Ann's and views of a building site where trenches are being dug for a new housing development. We then see houses being built with fabricated sections lifted into position. Exterior shot of the Garden Gate pub (with new housing visible behind) and exterior of the St Ann's Church (which was demolished for the redevelopment). Further views of houses that are part demolished. Views of an event attended by the Lord Mayor of Nottingham and Julian Amery MP to officially open the new St Ann's development (on 21 December 1970) including speeches.
