We see several Invacars (invalid carriages) arriving at the hotel and David Ennals, who was due to make a speech, is confronted by protestors with banners. After arguing with two people Ennals escapes into the hotel. Brian MacLaurin interview with protest leader, Alex Arthur, who says that the Government has not kept its promise to find a replacement vehicle.

Notes

The Invacar was leased to disabled users by the Government as part of disability benefits. There were fears over the safety of the three wheeled vehicle and the tricycles were recalled and by 2003 it was illegal to drive one on the road in Britain.
