Description

Lionel Hampden interviews Mr Bolland of the Thames Conservancy Board about the river and we see shots of boats on the Thames. Hampden next interviews Mr Bates of the boat builders Taylor and Bates who built the Dunmara in the 1920s. The craft has recently been restored by apprentices from Dunlop in Birmingham. The item ends with a brief interview with a man from Dunlop about the trip along the Thames and Lionel is thrown in the river.
