We see the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on a walkabout through a shopping precinct in Solihull accompanied by the town's mayor. Next at Dudley the royal party sign a book in the entrance to Dudley Council House and then walk through the town's Coronation Gardens waving to the crowds. We then see people awaiting the arrival of the Royal Train close to the Goodyear factory at Wolverhampton. Officials are seen removing the cover from a red carpet. Briefly we see the arrival of the Queen before we cut to views from a car driving through Wolverhampton town centre. The next arrival is at Dudley Council House. We then see helicopter views of the Royal Train and the Goodyear factory at Wolverhampton. This is followed by the motorcade arriving at the Oak House in West Bromwich where more crowds have gathered. Next inside Walsall council house the Queen is presented with a saddle. The final section shows a broken down Rolls Royce from the royal motorcade outside Walsall Council House.
