We see the protesters from the D.A.T.A. union (Draughtsmen and Allied Technicians Association) standing outside Rolls Royce in Coventry and marching past holding banners about a lock-out that has been going on for seven weeks. Alan Towers interview with Eddie McGarry, works convener at Standard-Triumph in Coventry, who is to help form a National Shop Stewards committee for the car industry. He is asked about spurious strikes and refers to the on-going strike at GKN-Sankey in Wellington.
