We see exterior shots of the school. Inside the children take part in lessons including music therapy and art classes and a boy makes cheese on toast in a cookery lesson. We also see the children playing outside. Alan Jones interviews the headmaster (Mr Myers?) about how the children arrive and are assessed. He also talks to teachers Miss Entwistle (?) who is deaf blind herself and another teacher who is likely to be Miss Joan Shields (she is referred to by the headmaster).
