The item is preceded by a tease showing a Land Rover being driven past the camera.
Bev Smith begins the item with a piece to camera as the Land Rover is driven over an obstacle called the Australian Creek.
Next the Land Rover is seen being driven over another test called the single bump.
Then Bev Smith gives another ptc from behind the wheel of his own car (a Vauxhall) before he is seen driving it over a test called the long wave pitches which is a series of concrete bumps used to test the suspension of cars.
The Land Rover is then driven through a water splash which cuts to a Bev Smith piece to camera where he claims to have been soaked by the passing vehicle although this isn't actually seen.
Finally Bev gets into the Land Rover with test driver Brian Goodchild behind the wheel. The Land Rover is seen being driven over rough ground with Bev providing a commentary.
