Terry Seeney was living in St Gilbert's Roman Catholic School at Hartlebury in Worcestershire following the death of his mother in November 1969. He had twelve brothers and sisters. He escaped from the home and was reported by the press to be living rough in the Balsall Heath area of Birmingham.
