Tony Maycock report to camera about the car (also known as an Invacar) which has been described as a 'deathtrap'. He then interviews Professor Ellis about his complaints which include crash safety fears and the effects of side winds. We see an Invacar being driven in circles on a runway (location likely to be Cranfield airfield) and close up shots of the vehicle.

Notes

Invacars or Invalid Carriages were leased to disabled drivers by the Government (although they had been available to purchase up until the 1960s). The lease scheme on the three wheeled Invacar was phased out in the late 1970s with the cars being recalled and scrapped. Some shots of the cars have been removed from this report.
