Reconstruction of Austin A55 driving along Camden Street in Walsall where Christine Darby was abducted in August 1967. We then see the car travelling to Cannock Chase where Christine's body was found. Library pictures of police searching Cannock Chase and Detective Superintendent Ian Forbes at police press conference. We then see library pictures of posters being put up and views inside the incident room at Cannock. This is followed by a police door to door investigation in Walsall carried out in January 1968. The turning point in the case was the attempted abduction of a girl from Bridgeman Street in Walsall on 4 November 1968 by a man driving a Ford Corsair. The car was traced and it was found to be owned by local man Raymond Morris. It was then discovered that Morris had previously owned a grey Austin A55 which linked him to the Darby murder. We see views of the tower block in Walsall where Morris lived and Clifton Motor Company at Ladypool in Birmingham where he bought his car. We then see crowds at Cannock magistrates as Morris is brought into court for the first time on November 16 1968. The next section is a background to Morris and we see the house on Halford Crescent at Leamore in Walsall where he was brought up; North Walsall Secondary School; Hopes Engineering at Walsall; Royal Airforce Bridgnorth; St Peter's Church at Walsall where he married his first wife Murial; and the plastics firm of Healey Mouldings in Oldbury where he worked. Jeffrey Watson interviews his first wife Muriel (they were divorced in 1963). We then see photographs of Morris with his second wife Carol Horsley whom he married in 1964. Jeffrey Watson also talks to Carol Horsley. We then see scenes at Christine Darby's funeral and there are vox pops with Morris's workmates about his arrest. We then see inside his flat (Regent House on Green Lane in Walsall). Finally Reg Harcourt talks to Detective Superintendent Ian Forbes about the solving of the case.
