Next in Erdington Sue talks to children in fancy dress (including a girl dressed as Hilda Ogden complete with cigarette) and talks to Pauline Bocott, local organiser of the event on Quincey Drive. The group sing God Save the Queen and then dance the conga.
Next at a different location Sue watches a tug-of-war and interviews children about the Queen. The next section (marked as Chelmsley Wood on leader) show a street party which begins with people saying grace followed by children eating party food. Sue Jay vox pops with children including a Jubilee 'Queen'. We then see a street of decorated houses and another group of people singing the National Anthem (with a girl playing trumpet). There are more vox pops with children (including a boy dressed as a Pearly King) followed by night shots of a bonfire and a crowd singing Land of Hope and Glory. The trims continue with shots of an obstacle course race for children and houses decorated with bunting followed by more trims of the bonfire sequence.
