The Green family used to live in Birmingham. Financial problems caused them to leave the city and live in a caravan at Upton in Staffordshire. When they were evicted from this Stafford Rural District Council found them emergency accommodation in a house within the closed RAF Seighford at Ladfordfields near Stafford. The conditions are poor with damp and a lack of hot water. Mr Green recently walked from Stafford to the ATV studios in Birmingham to seek help for the family. The Greens have five children.
