Description

The film shows dereliction and demolition in the St Ann’s area of Nottingham. Several streets are shown and named in a commentary (which is mixed with music) including Gordon Road, Salford Street, Flewitt Street, Carrington Terrace, Sprotborough Terrace, Campbell Street, Pym Street, Plantagenet Street, Turner Street and Hunt Street. We also see views of Bensons Engineering and Tool Makers, the Lord Alcester and Criterion pubs and Pork Farm butchers. The final shot is a view of a cleared site with the Victoria Centre flats visible in the distance.
