Description

The five women taking part in the protest outside Bush House which is the headquarters of the Birmingham Housing Department are Aurell Harvey, Carol Johnston, G. Duncan and Rita Barrett. They claim to have been promised houses by the council but have only been offered space in a hostel. The children have placards that highlights the problems of homelessness and refers to the television drama Cathy Come Home.
