Description

1. Squatters evicted by demolition men from a house at Bilston. We see a group of men removing furniture from a house which is dumped in a pile outside. Two women and a boy are seen walking away back to camera pushing a pram with a tea chest balanced on top (presumably these are the squatters leaving with their belongings). (Previously broadcast on Midlands News on 29 October 1962). 2. Princess Mary (the Princess Royal) is seen inspecting a parade line of girl guides and then watching them march past their new centre in Corby. (Previously broadcast on Midlands News on 29 October 1962). 3. Inflammable paint demonstration at Foleshill Fire Station in Coventry. Fires have been lit in two sheds. One burns quickly but the other one despite a lot of smoke is not badly damaged. (Previously broadcast on Midlands News 25 October 1962).
