Description

The opening section is colour and shows children picking flowers in a field and then playing 'Ring-a-Roses'. In a back garden a girl is seen playing in a tiny paddling pool. This is followed by a woman exercising.

The remainder of the reel is b/w and begins with adults and children paddling in the sea and digging on a sandy beach. A group are seen walking on a lane, two women have prams and then they have tea sitting in a small back yard. We then see views of the Squires Gate holiday camp in Blackpool including a promotion for the personality Alan Young. We see young children walking across sand dunes and paddling. The children play catch and adults try leap frog. This is followed by a bathing beauty contest next to a swimming pool followed by a swimming race for men.
