The film begins with a sequence featuring people playing tennis doubles on a lawn. The players pose for the camera on deckchairs smoking and drinking. After this we see a group of men walking along countryside and then riding horses. We then cut to a field where a group of men play games including an egg and spoon race (this is the works outing for Star Motor Club employees). Further races follow including larking about including the finishing tape being moved and runners being given false starts. A group of men are then seen standing outside a marquee. One man poses for the camera with a false beard and what looks like a very small set of bagpipes. After a sequence showing bowls being played we see the men boarding the steamboat Lilybyrd at Evesham and shots on board travelling along the River Avon including passing the bridge at Evesham and reaching a lock.
