Description

The film opens with shots of a policeman standing on a pedestrian crossing in Wolverhampton directing traffic. The film contains a series of inter-titles giving guidance on the safe driving of a bus in the town. Scenes shown and demonstrated include how to anticipate hazards from other road users such as a car coming out of a side street, how to signal, turn right or left and how to avoid pedestrians who stray into the road. There is also the demonstration of a bus starting unexpectedly in the depot and a sequence showing how braking distances are increased in the wet.
