We first see children with their parents collecting coronation souvenir mugs, which is followed by children competing in running races and a long jump contest. We then see a fancy dress parade [some sequences are in colour] and prize giving for the best costume. This is followed by footage of adults dancing in the street in the centre of Countesthorpe. The film ends with a bonfire and fireworks display.
