Film is in two sections:
1. We see a shot of a plane coming into land at Elmdon Airport. Princess Alexandra steps off the plane and is met by gathered dignitaries. A crowd of children cheer as the princess leaves the airport by car. We then see the royal motorcade driving on the ring road in Birmingham shot from a car following behind.
2. In the second section we see the cars arriving at the ATV Centre and inside Princess Alexandra is seen chatting to members of staff. We then see the cars leaving again and a final establishing shot of the ATV Centre (Bridge Street side entrance).
