Shots of the Australian airmen arriving at RAF Waddington by coach, chatting in groups and watching ceremonial events put on in their honour. Bob Warman talks to the men and they explain the importance Lincoln Cathedral played in the war as a valuable landmark. Aerial views over Lincoln including shots of the Cathedral. Views of Lancaster bomber take off and in flight (some shots are library pictures from ATV Today 18 April 1975). Views of today's events which included a fly past by the Red Arrows and a Vulcan bomber. Lancaster being started, taxiing and take-off at RAF Waddington.
