We see Jago Stone at home drawing. He provides a commentary talking to Lionel Hampden about his life which includes spending 18 years in prison and being encouraged to paint by the Governor of Pentonville. There are brief views of Priors Hardwick village including the Butchers Arms pub. Hampden talks to the couple that run the pub and several local people some of whom are critical of Stone and his motivations.
