Students

MACE can help students by providing content for educational projects or simply as a resource for an area of study. Thousands of our films can be viewed online and for titles not yet digitised you can arrange a free viewing appointment at MACE or we can supply a DVD or MPEG 4 copy for you to view at home for a small fee.

Over the years we have helped film, television, art, history and other students with their films, exhibitions, essays and those all-important dissertations. Whatever your subject, if you have an idea for a student project involving MACE and its collections then we want to hear from you.

Perhaps you are studying science, technology, computing, law or social science and are interested in other areas of MACE’s work: film digitisation, the preservation of moving image media, database technologies, film copyright, engaging communities through access projects.

To keep up-to-date with MACE’s activities and to find out where our films are being screened visit our website where you can also find our blog and sign up to our newsletter, or like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. If you need help accessing material or want to use the archive, get in touch – we’re always happy to help.
