Film Description

In this ATV Today report from April 1968 Barri Haynes reports from the Waterways Museum at Stoke Bruerne in Northamptonshire.

He talks to the museum's curator, Charles Hadlow, about the history of canals and some of the exhibits on show. We see various displays and still photographs relating to canal history. Whilst the pair are chatting two working coal boats operated by Arthur Bray pass through a lock outside the museum on their way to London.

Duration:  9 mins 45 seconds
B&W/Sound
Ratio: 4:3

Please Note:

Download to Own titles are only available as MPEG4 files. If you wish to have a DVD of this title, the material would need to be encoded and authored in our technical suite which is £72 inc VAT. Please email info@macearchive.org for more information.

We will be introducing a new online version of our agreement very soon so that customers will no longer need to sign an agreement.
