Description

Descriptive intertitles throughout. The film begins with general views of 'Jenny's farm at Ilam' farmyard and animals including cows, hens and horses. Next we see two children (Brenda and John Coles) feeding chickens. A short sequence entitled 'John Wants to be Like Daddy' shows him walking around wearing a man's coat and hat in the family garden in Leicester. After this we see the children at 'a Farm in Flintham' collecting eggs and using a water pump followed by the children riding tricycles around the family garden. Another intertitle, 'Botany Bay' is followed by shots of Brenda and John throwing stones into water. Later the children swim and paddle in the River Wye at Monsal Dale and then a visit Chee Dale where the family walk along the river. The final sequence is entitled 'On a farm at Flintham at Fruit Time' and we see the family having a picnic and walking around hay stacks.
