Description

The film begins with bell ringers working hard and the arrival of choir boys at the church. A vicar (Reverend Artus) delivers a sermon and this followed by shots of the sky and coutryside. An Old Arley boundary sign shows us where we are, which is followed by examples of harvesting: apples being picked, beets on a tractor towed trailer and a harvested field. Children are then seen arriving at church with baskets of food, which are passed on to the vicar while the choir sings and the church organ is played. The films ends with fruit from the harvest festival being distributed amongst children in a hospital.
