Description

Views of Bridgnorth, the river Severn and Barri Haynes riding on the cliff railway. Haynes then talks to a man who has recently planted a vineyard on slopes overlooking the town. He then talks to Christopher George, secretary of the Severn Valley Railway Society, about their plans to re-open the branch line between Bridgnorth and Hampton Loade to the public next year. The interview takes place whilst the pair are riding on the line. We also see views of the steam locomotive pulling their train. The item ends with library pictures of the River Severn bore including crowds watching the tidal bore travel along the river.
