We see Dunnett talking to the Notts County football manager Jimmy Sirrel at a Meadow Lane training session (Dunnett is the Notts County chairman). Reg Harcourt talks to Dunnett about his involvement with his local football team. We then see Dunnett visiting people who have recently moved in to the new St Ann's housing development in the city. Dunnett talks to people on their doorsteps and stops people in the street to ask about local facilities. The final shot shows a row of the old St Ann's terraced houses.
