Would you like to try your hand at editing footage online?
MACE has been a key supplier to the fantastic online edit tool, WeVee, created by In-Cahoots (A division of Television Junction) and Clusta.
WeVee is a collaboration between archives and digital innovators in answer to a UK Film Council brief to bring film archives to brand new audiences.
Their challenge was to unearth the regional history of archive film and video in the midlands, searching out gems and making them available for users to edit into their own WeVees using a unique online edit tool.
WeVee is about making and sharing your own meanings about the past, reflecting on where we’ve come from and where we’re heading to.

Using their easy to use online tool, you can 'edit your yesterdays, visualise your tomorrows and enjoy the music as you create'.
A tutorial on the homepage provides you with instructions on how to get started.

Enjoy exploring samples from our collection creatively, alongside footage from Cadbury, Staffordshire Film Archive and First Light, and add music tracks to create your own WeVees, then share and exchange with friends online.
