Summary
Amateur film of events at the Three Counties show in the late 1940s (Probably the 1949 event at Spetchley Park in Worcester).

Description
We see dignitaries arriving for the opening of the show and speeches being made. We then see various displays including tractors, farm machinery and a wind powered pump. There is also a model village (made by a school) and livestock including Hereford cattle and various other breeds. We then cut to scenes in an unidentified village including a river and timber framed houses and finally a reservoir (possibly Wales?).

Notes
The Three Counties Show moved between various sites in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire until it settled on a permanent site at Great Malvern in the late 1950s. A note on the film can gave this event as 'late 1940s'. The films in the John Beer collection generally record events in Worcester and as the 1949 event was the only one around that time in Worcester it is likely to 1949 we see here - although having non-Worcester events on the end of the reel adds some element of doubt.
