Next we see shots of people milling about followed by shots of the carnival procession through Droitwich starting with a drumming marching band followed by various themed floats including 'Highlights of 1960', Alice in Wonderland, Dixieland Minstrels, British Legion Women's section, Bride of the Year, the Carnival Queen and Jack Butters Fruit Fairies. We see shots of crowds watching the procession. Next we see shots of a man carving a roasted pig and of children on fairground rides at the carnival. Next we see shots of a large bridge and a clearing as part of the construction of the M5 motorway in Handbury Road, Droitwich and Wychbold. We also see shots taken from a car driving along a section of the new road. Next we see shots of a flood in the high street, Droitwich.
